The MSEB office observes the following holidays. Our office will be closed on these dates.
Observed Holidays
- New Year’s Day — January 1
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day — Third Monday in January
- Memorial Day — Last Monday in May
- Independence Day — July 4
- Labor Day — First Monday in September
- Veteran’s Day — November 11
- Thanksgiving Day — Fourth Thursday in November
- Friday After Thanksgiving — Fourth Friday in November
- Christmas Eve — December 24
- Christmas Day — December 25
Holiday Adjustment Rules
- If the holiday is on a Friday and Saturday, the office is closed the Thursday and Friday before.
- If the holiday is on a Saturday, the office is closed the Friday before.
- If the holiday is on a Sunday, the office is closed the Monday after.
- If the holiday is on a Sunday and Monday, the office is closed Monday and Tuesday.
